Speaking of Pokemon, one of my first trainer OCs is due for a slight cleanup of his reference, since he was missing one for Artfight. I always get comments from people irl how my artwork makes them think of Pokemon; which is rather ironic because I draw actual Pokemon maybe once a year. And boy, am I struggling to draw them right now.

That's Alto, a boy hailing from Icirrus city in Unova. He's an ex-Plasma trainee, although he still associates with the N-side of Plasma and the team's unique morals. Including not using Pokeballs.

From oldest to youngest, his team consists of Aria (Cinccino), Solo (Scrafty), Nocturne (Weavile) and Opus (Gallade). They're all lightly themed after music, with Alto's jacket having a violin frame.

I've got to yet clean up the other two Pokemon and line them, but at the very least I don't think I'm doing horribly with them.

I've been thinking about drawing a more lore-oriented piece after this, just so I don't draw static poses all the time. But I have to focus on a commission before that.
